This piece is a meditation on the completeness of love and identity, portraying a singular figure holding a child—a parent, a guardian, a giver of life. Neither bound by gender nor defined by a singular role, they embody both masculine and feminine energies, existing in the fluid space where nurture, protection, and creation intertwine. Their skin, composed of multiple tones, resists categorization, inviting the viewer to see beyond constructed identities and into the raw essence of humanity.
The surrounding elements reinforce this vision of wholeness. Water drips from the edges, a symbol of movement, healing, and life's ever-flowing continuity. The figures emerge from a wooden framework, its arch adorned with red beads—tokens of power, passion, and spiritual reflection across cultures. Bamboo weaves through the structure, representing resilience, luck, and prosperity. Behind them, a subtle halo abstraction evokes divinity, not as something distant, but as something inherent within love itself.
